Ganesha Outbound
Ganesha Center is developing a division
that will focus on off premise trips with a focus on getting
back to nature with a twist of style…like restaurant
quality food on a camp fire. Yes, there will also be accommodations
for those who do not wish to partake in “roughing
it” by camping. These trips would include but are
not limited to day and overnight hikes and excursions
to national parks and places of interest for spiritual
and personal development. We are starting an interest
list; please email us to be added.
We are also creating programs that will
offer specialized spiritual destination trips and retreats
that will focus on targeted topics of spiritual expansion.
Trips under consideration are India, Hawaii, “Burning
Man” Art’s Festival in Nevada and more. Please
email us if there is interest and if there is a particular
trip you would like us to consider.
Ryan Taylor,
Director of Outbound
Buddha once stated, “Success is
not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.
If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”
Ryan Taylor is one who has taken Buddha’s
sentiment to heart. Growing up in a small town in Maine,
Ryan was immediately immersed in the beauty and tranquility
of our outdoor world. Fishing, hunting, camping, and hiking
became commonplace in Ryan’s day to day activities.
He was taught how Nature can provide for us through our
physical and spiritual aspects of life.
Growing older, Ryan looked back into
his Native-American roots, and began to discover a great
connection between our existence and Nature. He took in
the beliefs of his ancestors and began his journey down
his own spiritual path. He realized the existence of his
spiritual guides and totems, and how they influenced and
guided him through his life. How these spirits coincide
with everything around us, the rocks, the trees, the water,
and made one universal spirit, The Great Spirit, in which
we are all connected. Never was our Great Spirit more
present then in witnessing the sunrise from the rocky
ledge of Acadia National Park, or peering down into the
great vastness of the Grand Canyon.
Ryan’s passion for great food led him to become
a chef. A culinary graduate turned professional, he has
worked for some of the biggest names in the culinary world.
His enjoyment for food alone has had him cooking in places
as small as an Irish pub; too mammoths like the newly
opened City Center in Las Vegas. His cuisine places emphasis
on natural food, fresh and simply prepared, with great
flavor. Tastes of home with flares of Vegas often sit
side-by-side on his plate.
Combining his connection and love for
the outdoors with his passion for food, Ryan has now come
to join Ganesha Center and directing the Ganesha Outbound
Division. The mission - to guide and educate all of our
friends in this community into the vast greatness on this
planet and bounty provided by
Nature.
